Infant, Child, Adolescent and Youth Community Mental Health Worker - Vacancy #07/10
Location: Tokoroa
The Raukawa Charitable Trust is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Child & Youth Mental Health & Addictions worker experienced in working with Maori and Non-Maori Infants, children & youth to join our dynamic team of Child & Youth Community Health & Addictions Services in our Southern Cluster.
This is a full time position and you will be required to
- provide a clinical community-based, comprehensive assessment, treatment, monitoring and support service for Tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau/family,
- hold a health professional qualification under the legislative framework of the Health practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 or
- A Social Work registration under the legislative framework of the Social Workers Registration Act 2003, recognised as health practitioners in the health & Disability Commissioner Act 2003 Amendment No.49
- Have a good understanding of Te Reo me ona Tikanga
- Disseminate quality information to clients,
- Establish and maintain quality networks within the designated area,
- Must have a Full Drivers Licence,
- Commitment to quality excellence and professional development
While you will all be working in a team environment you must also have the ability to be self-managing to deliver these services within the designated area. and communities and this position will be based in Tokoroa.
