Family Start is a child centred, whanau focused, and strengths based programme delivered within the home. Our service is provided to all those residing in Tirau, Putaruru and Tokoroa.
- Assisting life outcomes for children and families whose social and family circumstances put their health, education and welfare outcomes at risk
- A voluntary programme targeted at pre-natal mums, families and mums with children up to 5 years old
- We offer education through the delivery of the Ahuri Mowai program, support, advocacy and take an inter-agency approach
- A comprehensive Individual Family Plan is developed with the family once we have accurately assessed and identified their needs
