Group Purpose:

The Social Development business unit is committed to improving the quality of life to individuals and whanau residing within the Raukawa rohe.
Our professional, culturally sensitive service delivery is guiding by best practice models consistent with its contractual requirements while maintaining the Tikanga, Kawa and whakawhanaungatanga of Raukawa.
We believe that by working collaboratively with key community stakeholders we are able to address health, education and social issues with positive co-dependency outcomes for our consumers.
By conducting research that accurately assesses the needs of the people ensures we deliver a service that meets their needs resulting in better quality of life and stronger communities.
We are committed to consistent evaluation of our service as it evolves to make certain we maintain our professionalism and create positive impacts to the consumers using our services.
